War of the Worlds? Cool looking fan but a PITA to put up. First fan did not have right screws to mount, only short downrod (not 2 as per advert) and no holder for the remote. Also as noted by another reviewer, the downrod paint is thin and easy to scratch while trying to attach wires and screws only by feel.Package had been opened and items put in non-original bags.Returned, but was charged $14.50 shipping.To replace, I found the fan had dropped $35 dollars from the same seller!!!After…

I have a home, whose style I have been fighting a bit. It is a bit French cottagey, I tend to be more contemporary. I have a large stone fire place, and the family room is open to the kitchen with cream cabinets and brown trim.
