Looks Great and Bright! I have one fixture in my house that uses GU10 bulbs. I have 50 watt halogen bulbs in it that create as much heat as they do light. I was excited to be provided with a sample of this LED GU10 bulb for testing from Torchstar.The bulb arrived exactly as pictured, you can check my pictures below. I installed these to replace my 35W halogen bulbs. These appear brighter and whiter, and just overall nicer. The fixture is metal, not glass. I have tried LEDs in a glass fixture that has illumination on the sides and behind. The LEDs I’ve tried had a ceramic body that only allows light out the front, and not to the sides. For a metal/non-translucent fixture, no problem, for the glass/translucent not good. Since it has been only one day, we’ll see how reliable/durable these are. So far I like…
These are pretty bright white but good for working area. I have them in my kitchen and they may not work for you but my granite counter tops are black so I really needed the extra light, I don’t have much natural light in this area either. I think they’re a good investment and no problems with them so far. They do have a slight hospital feel as some have said, but I’m used to it now.
