Replaced builder’s light in small hallway The builder had installed a similar style light in a small hallway but it had a brass trim. When the brass trim started to noticeably deteriorate, I decided to replace it. I was having some electrical work done and asked the electrician if he noticed any difference in the longevity of different brands and he recommended Kichler.I chose this color because it matched a fan that I recently had installed in the adjoining room.
