Designed with the thinnest profile in the industry, 1/2 inch tall and 3/8 inch wide, solo rail is engineered for rigorous usage in commercial, hospitality and retail applications. The actual pendants are nice, however I have 3 strings of these lights, put into new construction in mid 2012. The transformer has burned out on 1 set, and the replacement cost was a little more than $210. The actual pendants are nice, however, the electrical connection on the light where is converts from the hanging connector to the light is press-fit, and as the copper connectors dull the embedded press-it contacts, the lights don’t make reliable electrical contact. Great light kit I installed these myself in my home office. It was easy for anyone with basic knowledge (takes a little time to get shape right if you are particular). Fixture looks great and 5 lamps give off a good amount of light.I really wanted to get an LED kit but never found one that I liked. Hopefully LED lamps will be available to retrofit in the future.Only reason for 4-stars rather than 5 is that when the fixture has been off for a while (cold) and is flipped on, it makes a brief…
Awesome!! The system looks absolutely fantastic in my game room. I did not want to install a typical billiards lamp over the pool table because I would have had to relocate the junction box, also I have two beautiful wall metal art pieces on two opposite walls that I wanted to light up.
