I have a 40 degree ceiling and this canopy kit did not work at that angle. I had checked around for an ‘angled’ mount for a ceiling fan with a 36″ down rod on a vaulted ceiling. It’s a Hunter fan, but Hunter apparently doesn’t manufacture or sell a mount for a 45 degree ceiling. I could be wrong about that, but I couldn’t find any on line or at Home Depot, and certainly none in brushed nickel finish. Weird—as popular as brushed nickel has been for 10+ years, you’d think a large ceiling fan manufacturer like Hunter would have every accessory in every color and…
Ordered this for a Westinghouse fan after they instructed me that this product was the proper part for a non-flush mount. The part works. However the remote receiver does not properly fit into this product, causing it to sit offset a little and not fit snugly against the ceiling. Keeping it and most people will not know, but for those of us who are a bit OCD, it is an annoyance.Also, this is brushed nickel, but the little center trim piece is chrome. WTH?
