Bright! light with a trick to successful installation Okay, the “lens” in plastic – not a performance factor so far. VERY bright light. Bought five of this model in different sizes for a rental unit and will definitely use this as my go-to lighting from now on. The plate with the LEDs mounts easily with pre-drilled holes to fit at least the two different legacy mounting models I had. Great replacement I bought this to replace a fluorescent (4 ft long) light in my kitchen. I was worried about it not being bright enough, though other reviewers mentioned it being almost too bright. For me, and being used to a much bigger light, I wished it was a tad brighter, but I really can’t complain. I did find that the screws included for installation were too short and I had to make a trip to the store for longer ones.
