PLEASE READ THIS for help installing….. I had all kinds of trouble to begin with. The strip is too bulky to get in the connector, and the copper wouldn’t connect even if I did. Like others said, it was covered with some film, but I think that is on purpose in case you put these on a metal surface or something. Here’s what worked very easily for me! Take a fingernail, and peel the rubber away from the led strip, it’s pretty easy to do, Then cut it back the length of the connector. Then connect the new exposed clean side to…
Sometimes you may have to wiggle the connection side to side or make a better cut on the LED strip for all the colors … Nothing fancy – does the job to connect RGB LED strip lighting together for the needed shapes or to cross small gaps. Some of the connections took a bit of fiddling to get all the colors to turn on, but all worked in the end.A few pieces of advice:If your lights have adhesive tape attached make sure it is removed for the amount the clips will cover (including any residue or stickyness – you may need to clean it with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip if it doesn’t come off easily)…

I actually used them as strip-to-wire connectors, because the connector side is infinitely better than the dedicated wire connectors. I just cut the wires in the middle of the jumper, and I had 20 strip connectors. You must be careful connecting the LED tape – make sure you have the correct width (8mm), and make sure the tape is positioned correctly. If you can, leave the backing from the adhesive on the strip, to add a little thickness to your LED…
